The Little Seed

tree hugging with style

Here at the Little Seed, we are always looking for new ways to help our environment. We just can't help it! There are so many ways we can help, and we want to do them all! Obviously, we can't save the world by ourselves in a day, but we can do little things each day that build up to big differences. Simply turning off the lights when you leave a room is a great habit to get yourself and your kids into. It takes only seven days to create a habit, and creating this habit will save thousands of wattage hours per person in just one year!
Why not make it a family effort?
We'll bet you'll appreciate it even more when you see the impact it makes on your bill each month!!

My daughter has just gotten tall enough to reach the light switches and I am CONSTANTLY going around the house turning lights back off. At just two years old she doesn't understand wasting energy and has chosen to ignore my demands that she not touch the light switches. Frustrating but I am doing my best to keep our carbon footprint small!
