Who doesn't like a good slaw? It's easy to make and delicious. The best part is that when you eat all the raw veggies, you are getting a blast of vitamins, minerals and enzymes! Salads are alive and we are happy about that fact! This Sweet and Sassy Slaw recipe comes straight from community member Nancy Mehagian's The Supernatural Kids Cookbook! So wash your hands and grab your apron....
Here's what you'll need...
2 cups shredded red cabbage
2 cups shredded Napa or Savory cabbage
1/4 cup cilantro, chopped
6 sweet Gherkin pickles, chopped fine
1 lemon, juices
1/4 cup sour cream
1/4 cup mayonnaise
Remember when we said this was easy? We weren't lying. All you have to do now is mix all the ingredients together in a salad bowl and serve!
