Many of us don't have the option of putting our kids into a private school that in some cases can cost as must annually as college, not to mention the application process! However, our options are limited when it come to a good and safe school for our children that is public. Thus, we are starting to see a bigger trend in home schooling.

 

Just twenty years ago homeschooling was a rarity. However, these days you probably have friends and family that are directly or indirectly involved in the homeschooling debate. So, as a parent how do you choose homeschooling versus regular schooling? Both have their advantages and disadvantages. Regular schooling offers our children the extra bonus of social skills, but at the price of large class size to teacher ratios. Home schooling allows a curriculum that can be tailored to the learning pace of individual children, however, activities like group sports and social interactions are not offered to the same extent.
