St Patrick's Day Activity

[The Little Seed]

Holidays are a great excuse to create themed art projects for you and your little ones to share in. St. Patrick's Day is a great holiday for us especially, because it's so GREEN! Here's a great green project for you to to create together; shamrocks!

These shamrocks are made out of hearts, for a little extra love. First, start with a heart stencil, and make three copies of the same size. You can make different sizes for different size shamrocks. Place the hearts in a fan fashion, and trace around them. We then carefully cut out the shape, and painted them with non-toxic green paint!

This is a great way to learn how to create designs from other shapes... and what happens when we mix yellow and blue? We get GREEN! :)
