236 years ago today The United States of America declared its' independence from Great Britain and passed the Declaration of Independence! The second sentence of the Declaration states, "We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights, that among these are life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness." These famous words are as relevant today in 2012 as ever before! Whether you are at the beach, park, baseball game, or bbq...today is a day to enjoy being free, happy, and American!
