We use only the highest quality fabrics in our private label clothing line here at the Little Seed. Being good to both our environment and our children hails the highest of priorities for us. All of our cottons are organic or raw, but quite a few folks don't know what that means.

Organic cotton is generally considered cotton harvested from plants that are in no way genetically modified. It is certified grown without the use of any synthetic agricultural chemicals, such as fertilizers or pesticides. Raw cotton is left untreated by chemicals after growth and harvest. Great news is United States cotton plantations are now required to enforce the National Organic Program (NOP). This institution determines the allowed practices for pest control, growing, fertilizing, and handling of organic crops.

Higher standards at home lead to a better example around the world. Today, 24 countries across the globe are now taking part in the production, exportation, and trade of certified organic cottons. Add that with our all natural vegetable dyes, and you have completely clean, green, stylish clothing!
