The Little Seed

tree hugging with style

Whether at the tide pools or aquarium, starfish are always a site to see! They are fascinating creatures...able to regenerate their arms if one is lost, move around using tiny "tube feet", can live up to 10 years, and even have little eyes at the end of each arm! How cool is that?

Today's craft is making a starfish...but not a real starfish, a recycled paper plate starfish!

Here's what you will need...

Paper plate

Pencil

Scissors

Paint

Paint brush

Place the plate right side up and trace five sea star arms! Cut it out and flip it over. Paint your starfish one solid color. Let dry for a minute or two... then use a cotton swab or thin paint brush to paint the little white dots in any pattern you like!
