What kid doesn't love crayons? In fact they love them so much, they wear them down to little nubs. Here is the question we pose for you today.... is there something you can do with all those left over pieces of crayon? We have found the answer to be yes and we are ready to show you with today's craft! Combine all those little nubs into one multi-color super crayon that your child will love. After all reuse and recycle is are motive here at The Little Seed. Let's get started!
Here's what you'll need....
Ends of old crayons in many colors
Tin can, muffin tin, or other metal mold
Saucepan
Remove paper from crayons. Put crayons of different colors together in a muffin tin or mold, filling it one-half to three-quarters full. Place mold or tin can on the stove at a low setting. Melt the crayons slowly, so that the colors do not mix. When melted, cool or immerse mold in a sink filled with cold water. When the super crayon is hard, remove from mold. Use it to create multi-colored pictures! Don't forget to comment and let us know how it turn out!
