The Little Seed

tree hugging with style

Love is in the air and it is time to celebrate. Need some ideas to spruce up the house for Valentine's day? How about handmade sweet hearts? It's simple, easy and fun to do with the kids. Grab your paint, cardboard boxes and let's get started.

Here's what you'll need...

cardboard

scissors

paint

imagination

First, trace hearts on your cardboard. Now all you have to do is cut out the tracings. Choose your paint colors - this is a great chance to teach your children that red and white makes pink or that red and blue makes purple. Once you have painted your hearts, paint on cute sayings. We choose "call me," "first kiss," and "true love." Then hang up your decorations wherever you like. If you live in the area stop by the store and check out our cute decorations. We always love to see your creative works of art - so post them in the comment sections!
