Boxed water is better!

Nike Recycling at the World Cup 2010!

We are a bit sad that the USA didn't make it to the next round for the World Cup... but what does excite us? The fact that all of the Nike jerseyes used in game play this year are made from 100% recycled plastic bottles! The kits ('soccer speak' for jerseys) are made out of bottles taken from landfills in Japan and Taiwan, then melted down and spun into fabric. By doing this, Nike used almost 13 million plastic bottles (or around 560,000 pounds of polyester waste) from the landfill. All those… Continue
