About Me:
I am a 33 year old with 3 kids and a restaurant - The Salt Exchange (I suppose that makes it more like 18 kids if you count my staff- haha) in Portland, Maine. We are a family and business that focus heavily on locally sourced products, sustainability and organics. I grew up in Maine while my husband grew up in california... it makes for some interesting conversations... Once my restaurant has been open for 5 or more years, and my children are all school aged, I have dreams of opening a children's clothing & toys store focusing on Local vendors using all natural materials- we'll see how that goes!
