Today was a great day to go on an adventure and boy were we surprised. We ventured out as a family for a nature walk on our 4 acres. We saw that there was some beautiful things popping up in hidden places. Toads were playing in the wetland area in amongst the different grasses. There was a columbine growing parcariously in the weeds, poking its little purple and yellow head out. Yesterday my husband was trying very hard to get a few moments in of the Olympics and our four-year-old was running around without stopping. So my husband after several attempts to get him to settle finally let a very audible sigh and said, "Lucas James, What is wrong with you?" My little angel stopped and looked at him with his beautiful blue eyes and replied, "Dad, I am CRAZY!" Then he picked up right were he left off.
