The Little Seed

tree hugging with style

Long ago my oldest son was diagnosed with Autism, although high functioning there was some definite differences between him and other children. There were times that I felt that there was something wrong with me, how I mothered or another reason why I could not connect with him totally. What I found out later with the help of other parents in my situation was that I was blessed with a unique angel and there were ways to help him and myself to learn together.

I hope that many of you out there who have your own angels will come and talk freely and openly about your experiences. What works, what doesn’t and what might. I hope that others who drop by to see this blog will be able to relate and find others they can talk about their children with.

They are angels. I offer some personal experiences of mothering autism on my blog (www.motheringautism.blogspot.com). I also am the Hartford parenting and autism examiner and offer some interest pieces (gluten free recipes, reviews, tips and resources-local) at http://www.examiner.com/x-29318-Hartford-Autism--Parenting-Examiner.

Wishing you peace and happiness~
